Is there an easy way to show just the hidden lines for just the openings on a roof plate under the covers without showing everything in the cabinet or the rest of the hidden lines for the roof? We want to who the gland plate size and the opening size and location in the same view.

When I change it back to invisible even the lines I changed in view dependent edit go away. We are using NX10 so this may be why.

The solution only works if you have a view which is created as an Exact pre-NX8.5.

If you have those hidden lines referenced, by dimensions for instance, then you can try below setting.
