I have a Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger in Wet-H2S service (both sides), and it is specified that NACE TM-0284 shall be met.
For this exchanger (all parts and components) it is also required to meet NACE MR-0103, which is ok.
My question is: NACE TM-0284 tests for HIC shall be performed for all components of Heat exchanger (including internals, tubes, baffles, flanges, tubesheets, etc) or only vessel's plates?
NACE TM-0284 is perfomed for any type of steel or only for plates under pressure? Does it apply to baffles ??
