Hi all
I have doubt regarding Hex Bolts length
how to calculate the total length from underneath head to the bolt tip that is L show in the image below

How to determine the value of L from the chart

I believe L is out of chart (specification) because you can easily have two screws with same dimensions except for total length.

You cannot determine L from this chart. You specify the L value you want and that the bolt will be compliant with this specification. Typically makers of bolts have standard lengths to choose from.
