Hi guys- we are doing some structural rehabilitation to a building done in the mid 60s. The architect did the structural at the time and has called out 5"X3"X1/4" hfw as the roof angle. ANy idea what hfw stands for? No one in our office has ever seen it?

It may be Heigth Flange Width, referring to depth, flange width and web thickness.
