I am using a Hex shaft for rollers for a convener, he shaft is 3/4 across flats, however, I can't find the tolerance for the hex coupling for the shaft. Thanks in advance for any help.
Are you asking about the tolerances on the part where the hex shaft fits into the conveyor rails?
If so, isn't that something you ask the conveyor manufacturer for?
Or are you asking about the tolerances on the hex shaft?
Or are you just asking for generic tolerance recommendations for a hex coupler you are making?
based on the details provided...
Whatever tolerance you want so that its bigger than the maximum dimension of the hex shaft...and small enough so the shaft doesn't rotate.
Yes! I'm an intern and not very familiar with hex hole tolerances. I've googled what I think should be what I'm looking for but can't find it. Our shaft are wearing down before the internal beating in the rolls due to prior hole sizes bring to big and the shaft rotates wearing down the shaft.
