Hermetically sealed tarnsformers or conservator type transformers?

Is there any Inernational standaards that specifies requirements of conservator type or hermetically sealed transformer to be manufcatured or used?I mean for oil cooled(ONAN) transformers any specific requirements which type to be used?Or is it user specified requirements?What is stanadard modern practice and advantages of each type?

Shell standard stipulates Sealed type transformers to be used up to a rating of 1600kVA.
Generally, the issue relates to the maintenance philosophy of the individual company and the available options in the market.
