We are currently using VNC to work with users in remote locations. As we move in new workstations, we have run into issues with being able to see the graphics window in wf2.0 and later. According to PTC, there is no solution to this, and we should expect it to continue going forward.

This is extremely disturbing to me, as I have several dozen users of varying skill spread throughout the nation. Have any of you found a good solution? We are using the NVIDIA FX3500 and/or FX4500, depending.

Try to have a look at http://www.dameware.com/. We have been using it for years without any problems.

Have you tried ultravnc? this vncserver and client have noteably more video compression formats and a video hook driver... worth a try I presume. Tightvnc is also a alternative.

I have to second jnoval. Dameware works like a charm.

This Dameware will allow one to interface to ProE on anothers system. I have been looking for something to do this. Have tried using the Windows XP Remote Assistance application but, as the original author has stated, can not view the graphics window. Was able to interface with all ProE functionality. All that was attempted anyway.

Dameware can do it
