Help With Solidworks "DWGeditor"

HI,

I am totally new to computer aided design - i.e Corel draw is probably the most complicated drawing software I have used and that was briefly and 5 years ago.

Now, my boss has given me a drawing (.dwg), a copy of DWGeditor and the instructions to add cabling and the wires within to this drawing.

I don't know how to do this and the freehand tool takes a few clicks before it works but never really draws anything but a straight line.

Is there any online beginners guides to DWGeditor software for an absolute beginner?

Have you checked the Solidworks site? I never liked the DWGeditor either. End up using Acad.
