Hi Experts,

I have a little confuse with european material. Myself is just working with BS EN standard but the data I have is based DIN standard. The specified material is HII DIN 17175(1.0425).

The question is "is number 1.0425 the same for all european material?" Can I apply this material number direcly into my BS EN standard?

Regards,
Prasit

Prasit,

P265GH EN 10028-2 is the replacement for HII (DIN 17155)"Werkstoff 1.0425" is still the same

Opslagtank,

Thanks for your response. So this means that when I see mat'l no. format like 1.xxxx, it can be only one material in all european countries. On the other hand, mat'l no. in all EU countries have been harmonised into EN 10028/EN 13445-2.

Do I understand it right?
