Help with Drawing Formats...

I'm using SW 2011, and have setup a couple drawing formats with our company logo, and necessary info. Everything seems to be working fine except that I have my formats set to "third angle view", yet everytime I create a new drawing it's in "first angle vew" and I have to manually change it. What am I doing wrong?

The projection is set in the Document Template (.drwdot) level, not the Sheet Format {.slddrt) level.

Well, I've tried opening that file, and changing the view, but it always tells me I don't have a template open, and makes me open a template.

...wait a minute. I bet I'm saving the template then, and not the .drwdot Let me try that.
