I'm working on a project that requires a user to select an option out of a combo box in AutoCAD that will then search a Word document, display that document, and zoom to the specified portion of the document. I can get Word to appear with the appropriate document but heretofore have been unable to make the program "zoom" to the desired portion of the document. Any suggestions?

Quck and dirty you could use SendKeys to initiate a find, more properly you should use the Work Object model, which is powerful but requires quite a lot of learning

To get a quick idea of how to access the Word Object Model, just record a Word Macro. You can then edit the Macro to see how it works and modify to suit

Good Luck
