I can not get web folders to set up. Any ideas?
I HAVE 10 NEW COMPUTES DEAD IN THE WATER HELP PLEASE.

When you say "64 bit computer", is it a 64bit operating system or are you refering to the CPU?

Solid Edge ST2 SP5 on WinXP x64

I don't remember v19 supporting 64-bit all that well.

You can run WinXp 32-bit on a 64-bit processor with Solid Edge 32-bit.
You can run WinXP 64-bit on a 64-bit processor with Solid Edge 32-bit.
You can run WinXP 64-bit with Solid Edge 64-bit.

Solid Edge 64-bit back in the day of v19 did not support Insight. You can keep all of your other 64-bit software, but you must install the 32-bit version of Solid Edge.

That is what I am doing. (32-bit version of Solid Edge)
Everything is working fine (mosty) I can draw and work with documents within insight fine. But, when I create a new document (even using save as) in insight it creates it as \\cass200\eng\prod\work\xxxxx.dft vs.
When you try to open them they say “this doc is not added to the library or save ass cannot generate indirect files list for this document”.

Thanks i am stressing out bad about this

I think my issue is all b/c i can’t create a web folder

Have you disabled the webclient service on the workstations?

When I do it that way it won’t even fined the server.
I found in the insight documentation. Not to turn it off with x64 (that also what solid edge told me we don’t have a service contract any more so they were not a lot of help)

Are you using Windows XP 64bit?

on the systems i can not get to work. yes

same boat ... thank you anyway

Do you have a copy of the attached implementation guide? It is a relative new version which supports MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0 but the wss 2.0 part should be relevant to your installation.
