Hi,

I made a measuring in a air compressed dryer.
The results were very confusing to me:

Can someone comment please?

P.S.: the clamps and voltage probes were installed correctly. Triple check!!!

Cripes.
At least post a picture we can actually SEE!

How about a little more info too?

Why are you making this measurement? Just got out of bed and decided, "Hey, lets measure this."? Or is something unexpected happening in its operation?

How many HP or kW is the dryer?

What in particular, "confuses you"?

After careful study using the information you submitted, there appears to be a “blip” in your measurement.

Understanding BLIPS can be very confusing, especially when compressed air is used to dry the reading.

One should not use compressed air to dry a measurement. It should be vacuumed first. And only if approved!

In continuing a study of your very detailed log of the Blip that took place, there also appears to be something
occurring right about when the blip... "bLIPS. It is somewhat difficult to detect by the untrained eye, but if you look real close,
you’ll notice your reading and measurement is likely the reason you’re confused. One suggestion to circumvent this element
of cluttered thinking is to apply just the right amount of active power and energy before you decide to record such an event.

It can be tough to do “but” when you achieve this, it won’t matter whether you triple check your clamps and voltage probes
because they are always installed correctly.

Hope this helps.

Do you suggest that a moving coil would be better?

Half full - Half empty? I don't mind. It's what in it that counts.

You guys crack me up. I had to think about Gunnar's response for awhile before I got a "handle" on it.

To op, there are some knowledgeable and helpful folks here. But not much that can be done with unreadable data.
