HELP NEEDED WITH AUTOBALLOON IN UG NX2

Can anyone tell me why the autoballoon does not work in the main assembly for a sub assembly that has subassemblies in itself but no piece parts or features?
It does not put a balloon on these upper level sub assemblies at all?

Since I don't have NX2 I haven't been paying close attention to it, but there are some questions and answers on autoballonning in the UG internal BBS.
