hi everyone,
can anybody tell me how to model a biomorph beam in ansys? it consists of two layers top piezo, bottom non piezo. i need to apply voltage on piezo layer to find nodal deflection.i took plane 183(isotropic) for non piezo layer and plane 223 for piezo layer. i dont know what may be problem.but i cannot find deflections. i glued piezo layer with non piezo layer.is there any alternative element combination?
please tell me the steps needed to solve the above problem or send me tutorial related to the above.
