HELP - MANUAL hyd oil particle counting

on manual particle count method - any one did manual hydraulic oil paritcle count? what instruments? what procedure?
i am looking for detailed procedure like - collecting 100 cc oil, pour through XYZ size filter disc, use microscope at x magnification with what reticle made by XYZ and stage micrometer, and count in this way...
