Help locating/sourcing E Series 7050-T73 Rivets

We are looking to purchase 5/16 E Type 7050-T73 rivets for a prototype project here. Does anyone have any insight on who would stock such a piece. Every where I have called, it is a non stocking item, and I have to order 25lbs if I want it.

Since it's a prototype, now may be the time to challenge the fastener selection from the designers (in a polite kind of way).
