Help Identifying Embed Anchor

See attached photos. I have no information about this building beyond what I can see. This is within a below grade pit in a warehouse that is covered by steel plate. W8 beams frame concrete pit wall to wall and sit on 6x6 embed angles. When viewing the angles I can see three marks/holes where there appears to be an embed anchor or coupler on the other side (into the concrete). These three marks are pretty much in the same location at each angle seat. At each of these marks I can see that whatever was attached on the other side is hollow and threaded on the inside. Similar to a coupler, but very small for a rebar coupler - it would maybe take something that is 1/4" but not even a #3 bar. In some cases the angle steel is burned away and it can be seen more clearly, in some cases there is just a little evidence of the anchor.

I'm being asked to evaluate if additional loading can be placed on the beams. The missing information is what is the embed on the back of those angles. Any ideas?

I have been asked to evaluate the load carrying capacity of this system, specifically the owner wants to move some heavy equipment onto the area. There are W8 beams closely spaced with metal grating on top. The only catch is these embed connections. Besides the bolts being missing, there is no way for me to know what is on the back of this embed. No existing drawings or info. My thought right now is to assume there is nothing on the back of this and retrofit it with post installed anchors.

Anyone have any idea what the anchors might be based on the not very great picture? In all cases there are 3 distinct point visible, up close it appears that it is hollow and threaded on the inside of whatever stud or anchor is back there.

One more picture, close up - you can't see the threads in the picture but you can see that the stud/anchor is hollow. What would this be?

Scale is hard to discern, but these holes look very small from the steel angle side. I suspect these were a means of supporting the angle during construction- some kind of form tie perhaps. I would guess you have headed studs on the back of the angle- but I don’t know of a good way to verify this.

Agree with hawkaz. The angle was cast in, and those fixings you see on the surface were used to support the angle on the formwork. No way to know what is behind the angle.
