Well, to start, I don't totally understand your question, you need to 'flesh it out a bit'. Having said that I'll give you the only book I have on general automotive plumbing systems and that is "Carroll Smith's Nuts, Bolts, Fasteners and Plumbing Handbook", by Carroll Smith (about $20).
I also have a "Automotive Electrical Handbook" by Jim Horner but, I do not recommend it for anything but the BAREST BASICS of wireing. It really is a bit simplistic.
