Hi,
I'm a new autocad user and a few days ago I should draw a pinion shaft. So I made a hand layout and all the calculations. Finally I wanted to draw my shaft in autocad.
With the shaft-generator. So far so good. Everything's fine but there was a problem drawing my pinion shaft because it's a helical cut pinion shaft and I can't enter the helix angle. The field where to write in the angle is grey and I can't choose it. Every other detail (e.g. modul) can be chosen.
We have mechanical desktop 6 with autocad 2002. I think it's a configuration problem.
Can anyone help me?
