I am looking for resources regarding or relevant to the design of a helical plate that is attached to a screw anchor for foundations.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Almita Piling publishes a Screw Pile Design Handbook which is likely your best bet.

In practice, however, much of screw pile design is proprietary and based on soil type/installation torque correlations to pile capacity.

I'm not looking at the design of an entire screw anchor. I am just looking to design the thickness of the helical plate really. We have a spreadsheet at my work, but we believe that the check for the helical plate is too conservative.

The helical plate can be simplified a ring in s plane. The interior perimeter of the ring is fixed to the pipe and the ring is under uniform pressure.
The book "strength of materials" by S. Timoshenko provides solution to the simplification model. see case 3 in the attached photos.

OG again: Double posting is frowned upon here, since we all usually look at many rooms.
