I am developing a HEC_RAS model of a spillway. Pretty simple - 4 Cross sections...Top, bottom and upstream and downstream of roadway bridge that spans the spillway. Concrete ogee weir is also included as an in-line structure.

I have entered a pilot flow for the weir and boundary conditions io my steady flow file (array of flows). The boundary upstream is normal depth and the boundary downstream is critical depth as the spillway drops off sharply.

Upon calculating I am getting an error that the model needs a flow for the upstream cross section but cannot determine where it should be entered. Any help is appreciated.

I have attached the debug file if you want to take a look.

In the steady flow data editor, you have 10 profiles indicated but only entered values in 9 of them. Scroll all the way to the right to PF 10 and fill in a value (100,000?). Or, change the number of profiles to 9, and it should work.

Thanks Drew.
So simple.
