HEC-RAS 3.1 Error Message ? 1

Just downloaded and installed HEC-RAS 3.1 and loaded a geometry and flow file (created in HEC-RAS 3.01). When I tried to run a steady flow analysis I get no results and the following error message:

" Error writing intermediate computation file."
"Access denied."

Does anyone know what this obscurity means, please ?

Is it, perhaps, a Windows 98 error message and has nothing to do with HEC-RAS ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Solved my own problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the program.
