Hi all,

I am trying to model a weir outlet structure in HMS similar to the picture attached. HMS doesn't have an option to specify the weir configuration and I am unsure how to input the design so that the program analyzes it correctly. Would it just be three orifice outlets stack on top of each other?

One option may be to specify a "Dam Top" for your reservoir with a Non-Level Overflow method. You can then specify a cross-sectional geometry of your structure. Another option would be to develop an elevation-discharge rating curve for your structure and use that as your outfall structure. I have found that to actually be easier than messing with the physical outfall structures.

Good luck!
