Heavy Steering

We designed a new vehicle with electric power steering. After prototype building, we found steering feel heavy. Could you please help me figure out the possible reasons? Thanks.

Tire pressure, excessive jacking, wrong castor, insufficient scrub radius, boost curve calibration, friction, indequate EPAS torque capacity, wrong KPI.

It would help if you could describe what you mean by heavy steering.

Problem could be in the column? I think by heavy, he means that when you turn the wheel it feels like something is fighting. If you have any bearings in the steering column, check to see if they are pressed to hard.

Is it heavy when moving the wheel quickly? Could you be outrunning the servo?
