I have a question and need some help. I have no experience with lasers so please be patient.

This is what I want to to.

I want to use a laser to heat up a 1" tungsten ball or other shape to 1500 Degrees F without destroying it.

I would like the laser to be at least 10 feet away from the ball or other shape.

I would like to retain this heat for about 45 seconds and then cool down to be repeated at another time.

Ideally I would like to mount the laser 100" away from the ball and transmit the laser via some medium to the ball if possible. (fiber optic or something else)

Question 1

Is this possible?

Question 2

what equipment do I need to make this happen?

Question 3

Is there an easier way to do this?
