When insulation is applied to a cylinder, how is the interface modeled. I can't get the temperature to distribute properly. The ID is at 500F on a steel shell. The outside of the insulation has a film coefficient. After the analysis, the 500 F goes thru the metal with no reduction. The ID of the insulation is 500F. Then the insulation OD is much less. Is there a secrete to putting two materials together?

Thanks.
