we want to make some kind of heads( torispherical , eliptical ,...) . plate of these heads should be made by welding. there are some questions about this:
1- What kind of NDE tests should be applied before and after forming? ( I believe that lamination test for the material and ultrasonic test for the weld of plate befor forming and radiography & magnetic particle tests after forming are suitable)
2-if the head needs PWHT what kind of NDE tests are suitable and what should be the sequences of these tests?
3- if all of the vessel should be PWHT in the final stage , is it necessary to perform PWHT for head separately?

The answers to your questions depend somewhat on material type, thickness, and the intended application.
The answer to question 3 is no it is generally not necessary to perform a seperate PWHT of the joints in a multi piece head if the entire vessel is to receive PWHT at the end of the fabrication cycle.

fazel1;
The answers to your questions require more detailed background information on the service conditions and materials of construction of the vessel. In addition, you need to have an understanding and experience in applying the design fabrication requirements in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

I would strongly suggest you contact an experienced pressure vessel design engineer or company that can help you directly.
