Hatched area in a drawing ?

Can I hatch a certain area of a part in drawing mode? (not a cross section cut)

1. Sketch a closed loop lines
2. Edit > Fill hatched

how can I have features that are sketched in drawing mode to snap to features on the part?


Lets say I have a board with a hole. I need to place a hatched "donut" around the hole but it has to be concentric.

Sketch > Edge > Use.

Highlight the entities you have drawn and go edit> group>relate to view.
