What is the vickers hardness number for plain carbon steel that is heat treated to the following: (1) quenching (2) normalizing (3) tempering (4)annealing

Which condition do you want a hardness number for?

As Quenched?

Normalized?

Tempered?

or

Annealed?

Each of these conditions is different and you would NEVER do them in the order given in your post.

And this sounds surprisingly like a homework question to me.
