Does anyone have a reference to where I can find information on the installation of a Simpson H1 connector to the bottom chord of a low heeled wood roof truss. The connectors are installed on the interior face of the exterior studwall and therefore connect to the bottom chord of the truss, which via load path to the roof diaphragm has to put the truss plates that connect the bottom chord to the top chord of the truss in out-of-plane bending.
I can not find where this is an allowed loading that can be quantified in any of the ER reports for truss plates.
Thank you.
