H.Kroon's method 1

Dear experts

In H.Kroon's method. Many people take the first P1 as P: in N unit.take the second P1: in N/mm.
but in the book it's all P1 and the value is same all in N/mm.
So which one is correct?
how to get P1 value in N/mm?

Apparently the attachment is a copy of a page from a book . Unit of P1 is N/mm or Lbs/inch. Kroon’s method is not addressed in API 650, BS EN 14015…and I did not see in any calculation report .The width of annular plate is suggested with different formulas…I checked the spreadsheet and;
Po=Liquid pressure at the bottom = 0.9* 9807 N/m3 *16 m= 141221N/m3 =0.1412 N/mm, = 20.47342 lbs/ inch2=
P1=Weight of shell + portion of roof supported by Shell/ Perimeter length = 97.63 lbs/ inch = 17.1342 N / mm
P2 =Liquid pressure on inside fillet weld=0.3150*20.47432 =6.44831 lbs / inch = 1.1317 N/mm

 
This looks like a partial screen grab of chapter 3 entitled "Ambient temperature storage tank design" from Storage Tanks & Equipment, page 49 figure 3.37 "An example of H. Kroon's method for tank bottom annular plate analysis".

To calculate P1 in N/mm you add the total weight of the tank shell plus the weight of the portion of the fixed toor supported by the tank shell and divide that sum by the circumference of the tank, all using the proper units.
