Try in this forum - uav aerial vehicles.
They work with autopilots and solid state gyros, altitude hold systems, gps interface, etc, and PIC´s software. You may obtain a useful help.

Mohr...thanks for tip..very useful. I am interested in
Hall effect electric compass, MEMS manufacturing and chip
controller and programing for my project. I think I
will opt for "Basic Stamp" from Parallax who by the way
have a great web site (parrallax.com).
