I don't think it has a problem.I don't know what type of thermocouple it uses, Type C ( which I had at home) didn't get me the correct readings.When I took the unit out of its'mounting holder it appears it may have a compensating resistor off the back off the pcb.
This is for a personal project at home not at the lab.
I bought this unit used.
It apparently has solder on board options. The board has options of more ICs, switches, etc.
The way this unit is set up is a one time either on or off when it reaches the target temperature.Then I have to do a manual reset.
I don't know if the company is still in business, I haven't
found anything on them yet.
