We have just begun a piping job where the client has stipulated that all pipes 2" and below are to be TIG welded regardless of what the pipe is carrying. Can somebody tell me why this may be?

Recommended for you

Lower weld reject rates and fewer flow losses from protruding weld metal as opposed to stick root and fill is a good place to start.
