GSE 400Hz Frequency converter E & F Interlock circuit

Can someone tell me what is the E & F Interlock circuit for? Some 400Hz SFC has Alarm "E&F BYPASS" Alarm on the control panel, What does that mean? What is the "E & F" stand for? Is this something to do with the 400Hz Power Connection Interlock?
