The area was once a river and the deepth of the sands, silt and soil was too thick. Soil test was done to 40m deepth and no change on soil parameters. The result of the test suggested floating foundation but time consuming even on paper works only(Lisemsing, permits, limmited working hours, etc), Some suggested Grouting as to improve ground condition, any suugestions, the area is 40m x 55m and eight storey commercial building was proposed.
Any suggestions on proceedure on how to do it.

This is a large project and deserves a full Geotechnical Report. Don't cheap out. The Geotechnical Engineer should recommend a foundation system or soil improvement.
