Hello. I need to obtain ground motion records on the bedrock. The records in the website of PPER " are on the ground surface. How can get them on the bedrock? Because I want to model a structure with underneath soil that should apply earthquake on the bedrock. Thanks

Probably better question for a geotech.

Not too sure what you are trying to achieve but a site class A is for a hard rock site. So could you just apply site class A to the ground accelerations provided?

How would this type of record have been obtained?

You think there are places where people have drilled down to bedrock and installed accelerometers? The only true ground records that I know of are the PPER one. Measured at the locations where they have good instrumentation.
