You're right, the flygt is too big for this application and I light Flygt pumps.
The Myers is a good system (used many of them); however, make sure you use a 2hp motor. There are a lot of 1hp units and they look fine for the pump curve; but, they tend to burn out early due to the grinding needs. The 2hp units have a little more power for the grinding application.
Why do you need a duplex unit? Use a simplex and purchase a spare pump.
I just personally purchased a simplex station for our church with a Myers pump, guide rail installation, all of the wetwell piping, valves, controls, and 8'x30" fiberglass wetwell for $3,500. That doesn't include power to the panel, wiring between the panel and pump, or inlet/discharge piping; but, your above prices are way out of line for even that if it is close to your building.
A "quality" step system will use the same setup only a pump without the grinders so the cost will be similar except you also have a septic tank and routine sludge removal. You can get the cheap step systems with a submersible well pump; but, I think you will regret it once you begin replacing the pumps.
