Topic: Great confuse & caois in CONTACT ANALYSIS

I am doing a contact analysis with 3 parts

1. a pillar of stainless steel 5mm diameter

2. a main body of PVC which have a rail to locate the pillar

3. a pusher of PVC which is used to push the pillar indirectly

I add force to the pusher and fixed the main body, between each part I added ocntact surfaces.

I am going to study wehter the part 2 or 3 deform and how the mechanism fail....

however...the result is ....the steel pillar deform, it is out of expectation...

Could anyone explan this situation??

really don't why PVC not deform but steel deform.
