I run a batch coating process that utilizes a 100 gallon mix kettle containing an +/-40% abrasive grain by volume slurry suspended in a resin. The slurry runs from 300-3000 cps depending on product type with a flow rate of 4-20 lbs/min. To date all of our design is based on experimentation for sizing our tubing. I am looking for a method or calculation that can assist us in reducing the "experimentation time" when we design a new product. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated
