If I have a complex loading situation (angles, forces and moments) all measure and applied using lbf, how do I incorporate gravity to show the effect of masses?

U can consider the masses effect by defining gravity load =386,4in desired direction.

Ok, and I can do that in lbf units and it won't be a distortion of gravitational effects?

I wonder if gravitational force is strong enough to distort your structure? can you post a snapshot? How about material?

Don't have a picture at the moment. Basically, what I'm trying to do is find whether or not the loadings will be able to overcome gravity and lift the structure up. Its made of steel and is quite large, but the forces are large as well.
