Hallo,

My problem is, that I have a simple cylinder made as a revolution and I would like to present Von Mises stress on a graph along cylinder length. The problem is that when I click on an arrow icont o define my curve I cannot choose what I want. I can choose only edges of the part. I've created my curve as a datum curve and as a sketch, but that doesn't help at all:(. Please help me.

Regards

I believe you need to project the curve to the surface to associate it with the elements.

I dont have access to mech right now so I cant verify my statement

Your datum curve must contain nodes of elements. Just
define mesh controls on your curve, for example 10 elements
along of curve, create new mesh and start analysis again.
After these..., the curve should be alowed selection in
postprocessing...
