Where is the best source for median salary data? I'd even pay for a source with excellent statistical info.

Are you a member of ASCE? If you participate in their annual salary survey, you get access to the results (I assume of the previous year). It is broken down by range of experience and region of the country. The regions are fairly large, though.

You can also try salary.com. I used it a couple years ago and found it to be fairly in line with ASCE data for my region.

It also helps to politely ask around among your local peers. That way you have some real-life data points to verify that your specific locality correspond to the overall trend of your region.

Ah. Yes, yes I am. I forgot about that survey. Thanks, mate.
