Does anyone know of an equation which correlates the density of a water- glycol mixture to a percentage of mix....?

I don't have an equation (assuming you mean at 60F or some basis since that's otherwise another effect on the density). DOW has this information on glycol mixtures, you could curve fit it on Excel in no time.

TD2K,

wher does one find this equation etc?

John

x = fraction glycol

rho mix = x.rho glycol + (1-x)rho water

this should be close enough

John, give me an email address and I'll send you the glycol property package I have.

TD2K,

my email is dideyjohn@yahoo.com

oh, somebody giving away property data for free? i only have access to yaws' book, which doesn't include mixtures... may I ask to get these data also? Email adress would be: cereal313@yahoo.com

It's in the mail, email that is.

I need an equation that correlates the two of them. If I know the density, I want to plug this value in a equation for an inline deisnity meter to let me know the concentration
