Does anyone have any experience with tapered threads internationally? From what I'm reading there are NPT and BSPT (BS21) standards that people use everywhere. Does anyone know of any other frequently used types of threads? Seems like there should be a metric standard, but from what I'm told, NPT and BSPT are the "everywhere" solutions.

Any thoughts?
