Glass distorsion during bending because boundaries effects

I would like to know how to reduce the distorsion effect in a multilayer glass, due to some boundary condition, like a border or a hole. It´s very comum to have perimetral distortion in a border and contour distorsion in a hole. It could be possible to refill the boundary just to reduce optical defects?
