Ghost Grips???

Hello all,
Have a good one. When I select an object I get the grips to show up, but they are below and to the left of the actual object. I cannot select the grips themselves, but can select a "ghost grip" where the grip should be on the object. This is a real hasal, and if anyone could please help to resolve this I would greatly appreciate it.

I suspect a video card driver issue. Can you find and load the latest one from the web?

I thought about that, the drivers that I have are the most current. What's really weird about this is that it only happens in AutoCAD 2005, not in 2006 (being thats the latest that I have), and it only starting doing it yesterday.
Thanks for the input though, I do appreciate hearing from someone on it.
