German print with an E and a circle around it ???

I'm looking at a German drawing of a bushing that has a bore with a keyway. The bore has a diameter dimension of 12 with a G7 and then an "E" with a circle around it. I know what the G7 is but the "E" I'm not sure about. I know that it has soemthing to do with the fit or function of it but I'm not sure. Can someone please explain to me what this means?

Envelope requirement to BS ISO 8015.

I have no idea what that actually means but thats what Roymech suggests it is.

Note that the 'Envelope' symbol is part of the 'ISO 1101' standard, if that helps any.

Found it. Looked in the ISO 8015 and it explains it. Yes it is the "Envelope Principle". That is exactly what I needed to know. Thanks, you guys rock! Have a great day!
