I am searching a FORTRAN77/90 slope stability analysis computer program.But I could not find out, as no organization want sale to me.

Your help would be appreciated in this regard.

Try contacting the geotech dept at Purdue. They developed Stabl in Fortran in the 70's. They probably still can get you the code. They currently sell for a very modest fee PC Stabl for the PC if you are looking for more current. However I am not sure but I think the PC version is written in C

Thanks for your reply. I contacted them, but they informed me that they could not sell that code to me rather software, but I need the main listing written in FORTRAN77/90.

Check McTrans at the University of Florida. You can probably still get a copy of some public domain code written in Fortran.

It may not help, but there has been quite a lot of work done on STABL by professors at UW Madison WI.

Also, I see that the US Dept of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration has a publication Jan 1985 FHWA -TS- 85-212 on STABL4, apparently written by Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center, 6300 Geoegetown Pike, McLean, VA 22101. Since this was a government work job, maybe it is not restricted as to giving out information.

With regard to Purdue, my old stuff shows that a IBM/PC compatible source code for STABL13 can be had from Civil Engineering Shareware, P.O. Box 472, Lee's Summit, MO 64063 for $75.
